Fruit Slash
Fruit is flying everywhere and you've got the sharpest swipe in town. Slice it all in half, chain big combos, and whatever you do, don't touch the bombs.
About the game
Fruit Slash is a free fruit-slicing arcade game you play in your browser. Watermelons, oranges, apples, lemons, kiwis and plums are tossed up from the bottom of the screen, and you cut them out of the air with a swipe. Each one splits in two with a splash of juice. Bombs with lit fuses are thrown in among the fruit, so watch where your blade goes.
The game plays in stages. Each one mixes up how the fruit comes at you: big bunches thrown up together, long lines tossed across the board, and crossfire from both sides. Every stage ends in a finale, either a fruit frenzy with no bombs at all or a fruit storm with bombs flying among the fruit. Each stage is faster and busier than the last, until the pace levels off at one that's tough but always fair.
How to play
- Swipe across a fruit to slice it. Each fruit is worth one point.
- Combos: slice three or more fruit in a single swipe for bonus points, one extra point for every fruit in the combo.
- Bombs: the black ones with the red glow. Cut one and the game is over on the spot.
- Lives: every fruit that falls back down uncut costs a life. Miss three and the game ends.
- Stages: each stage ends in a finale. In a fruit frenzy, fruit pours in from both sides with no bombs. In a fruit storm, big bunches of fruit come with bombs among them. Fruit you drop during a finale doesn't cost a life.

Tips
- Wait for fruit to bunch up near the top of its arc, then cut them all in one long swipe.
- A slow drag won't cut anything. Swipe quickly.
- When a bomb flies up next to a fruit, cut the fruit from the far side, away from the bomb.
- When fruit and bombs are thrown up together, the bombs fly lower. Swipe along the top.
- A frenzy is where big scores come from: keep your blade moving through the middle.
- Lift your finger between swipes so you can't drag through a bomb by accident.
- Listen for the fizz of a lit fuse: it means there's a bomb on screen.
